Introduction
Empowering Communities. Enabling Change.
The Community for Resource Elevation and Effective Development (CREED) is a women-led Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Guwahati, Assam, established in 2014. We are committed to building sustainable livelihoods, empowering women, and fostering inclusive socio-economic development across the North Eastern Region and beyond.
With a strong grassroots presence and a vision for scalable impact, CREED works closely with communities to create opportunities that drive self-reliance, dignity, and long-term growth.

Empowering Women & Youth
CREED Expo 2024 provided a dynamic platform for women entrepreneurs and youth, showcasing handloom, handicrafts, food processing, and agri-based products. With 60+ stalls and participants from across the Northeast and beyond, the event fostered networking, market expansion, and skill development. Featuring cultural performances, workshops, and renowned guests, the expo was a resounding success in promoting economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods.
ARRIVAL OF CHIEF GUESTS
Inauguration (29 Nov 2024) : Dr. Numol Momin, Deputy Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly, inaugurated the expo at Lakshidhar Bora Kshetra, Digholi Pukhuri, Guwahati.
Recognition & Cultural Highlights (30 Nov 2024) : Ravi Sarma attended as Chief Guest, distributing mementos to participants. Young artists showcased their talents through cultural performances.
WORKSHOPS
Workshops: Three key workshops were held on Natural Dyeing, Makeup, and Food Processing, providing hands-on learning to enthusiastic participants.
CULTURAL EVENT
Assamese sensation Sannindhya Bhuyan & KLANZ performed on the opening night. Opened for them was Mandeep Bordoloi & Maitrav Abhigyanam.
